Are you merging all the layers of your montage before you try and save it as a jpeg? If not, that is what you need to do. Go to layers-merge visible and then you can save in jpeg format. Jpegs can only be created from 1 layer. Hope this helps. If it is not what has happened then I have no idea....sorry!
Thanks Raina, I hadn't flattened it first time realised mistake and then flattened it - still didn't work.I have been flattening them not merging does this make a difference, does anyone know?
Hi Sue
"Merging", just merges certain layers together. Hide the "eyeball" icon for the layers you don't want to merge. Flattening sandwiches all the layers together.
Once you have flattened the image you should be able to save as a jpeg.
Perhaps you're working with too many layers? Try flattening and saving as you go to keep the number of layers down.
Along with Raina, if this doesn't work I'm stumped!
cheers guys, flattened first montage as I went along, that save as jpeg; there were masses of layers on second and I flattened most at the end, so I think you may have solved the problem Rich!
