My blog said yesterdays entry was published successfully yet it is not on my page why? I can't see what I am doing wrong.

Reflections on this past week are good. I really enjoyed uni on Monday, despite getting off to a bad start - the wretched motorway was blocked yet again, only this time it made me late and that really annoys me particularly when I leave home in plenty of time to allow for hold ups.

I thought the afternoon session with Jamie and Andrew was excellent, really good fun. It was an interesting perspective on how to raise a design, I've never thought to look at adds but have looked at other images. Sometimes just a shape or colour can inspire a design; light reflecting off metal is something I really like and water over a smooth surface, there's something very tactile about it. Anyway now I shall pinch my daughters mags and have a browse see if there is anything inspirational but I can't see my son's FHM inspiring me....unless it's an organic design. Researching Capability Brown is having an effect!

It's been a busy week researching and putting powerpoint presentations together, I don't seem to be away from the computer these days. Family think I've left home.

The National Archives was an exhausting experience, couldn't believe how long everything took but it was interesting and I expect I shall be there again before long. Now I'm trying to piece bits of maps together, great fun.

I took this photo of the metal structure that is holding up the huge glass panels in the Guigenheim Museum in New York when I was there in the summer. I liked the way the light played on the metal, the colours are reflected from the sunlight shining through the purple and white opaque glass roof and also I was curious as to what was holding up the glass.

I didn't ask anyone - unusual for me - but I wondered if it was temporary or permanent, I found it quite interesting.

It was such a wierd sensation looking down with the reflections in the glass. The huge panel is made up of several square panels, this causes further distortion. Not as good as my map stitching today though.

Gosh, this was not easy! Every name I chose was gone including my own - who has it??? Well I shall be interested to see how blogging turns out, you never know I may even get to like it once I suss out how it's done.
